Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
~sorry buddha, Jesus beat ya to that idea for us before you did maybe next time...

Graduating

Graduation. Tomorrow, how are you suppose to feel, act on, and celebrate it? When you hear of a graduation the first thought that comes to mind is 'Good for him/her. What kind of degree or diploma and if a college grad where from?' For the most part, majority of graduates celebrate their success by alcoholic beverages, everything that is associated with a party, and maybe a one night stand. Lets be real by these examples of today's 'graduate' whether successfully completed high school or college this is how our graduates of today's society celebrate their great success. As for those graduating for Bible College we feel very strong in celebrating our success as well however celebrate it by living it. By no means celebrate by living it up like the world advises but by living it, in our conduct both word and deed showing all what we have learned, worked for, and obtained. We celebrate each day by our conduct not a title.

Skiing?

In reading the Denver post i came upon an article of baby boomers dying out as well as the sport of skiing itself as well. The baby boomers are said to be the very 'back bone' of this sport. I've always fancied snowboarding but the thought of knowing i know i cant ski, presents a challenge. a challenge i feel is my next task this winter..
